So I heard a new noise today, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, at low speeds, in gear or not, hubs unlocked. I had a bad vibration the other day when i locked the hubs in, but it was only at 70mph. Any ideas before I investigate this weekend?

 

SOunds like you got yourself the infamous 1st gen cowel cracks.

 

No, I know both of my cowls are cracked, but that only makes noise when I hit a bump.

 

On my rc it squeaks when I have somebody in the passenger seat. In my crew it squeaks when it is over 80* outside.

But it sounds like you are familiar with the cowl issues.

 

It never did this before, and my cowl cracks don't explain my vibration.
