Dead cylinder

i broke the turbo on my truck today ill post pics later but lets just say itt blew up. so i get home take the turbo off the truck and start the truck up and its got a bad miss to it and its blowing white smoke out of number three cylinder so i take the manifold off and number three is wet.. i wanna say its fuel what do you guys think it is.

Is it fuel wet or water wet? How much were you boosting when it turned loose?

Pop the injector out and have a look at it. If it looks OK swap it with another cylinder and see if your miss and wetness moves with it.

Judging from scenario, my first guess would be blown head gasket. Check your coolant level and condition, as well as oil. Just my 2 cents.....

Question

Could a piece from the turbo have gone through the manifold and got stuck in the exhaust valve?

im not sure if a piece made it that far very well could have.. we pulled the intercooler and ther was oil and pieces from the turbo on the turbo side the other side was clean

the exhuast side of the turbo looks fine doesnt look like it was ever touched..

well i pulled the head off yesterday and found that some of the turbo had made its way to the head and a piece was holding the valve open.. but everything eles seems to be fine. so today i ordered my #60 valve springs .020 head gasket and new head bolts...

I've not seen one blow up that hard in awhile. GOOD JOB MAN !!!!!!!

yea prob about the 330 maybe more let out a big pop alot of smoke i let off the throttle and was gonna keep going i just thought it was a boot but when i saw the fire come out the hood stack i said i better stop..

this is with 6x18 injectors and the h1c turbo and ALOT OF NITROUS

so i new it was gonna happen jsut didnt no when..
