Decided I wanted to see what it looked like black came out nice tomorrow interior!!

 

Looks good im thinking about doing that too but with red inserts after the truck is painted black

 

So how'd you do it? Scuff the chrome? Did you use a plastic/paint adhesion promoter?

Actually used an old trick I heard.. took some break fluid and rubbed it on the grill and the chrome fell right off. washed the grill then scuffed it up a little. I used Krylon Matte black BBQ&STOVE Spray paint. It is a little tougher giving oregon wheater conditions -Jared
