I dropped the tranny pan today to service the tranny, and when Iwas wiping down the valve body I had a little THIN rubber grommet of sorts fall out. Where does this go? I can't figure it out, and I don't want to put the tranny pan back on before I get teh right parts... PLEASE help!!!!

Are you sure it's not the one on the Filter tube?
Not sure on our trucks, but most tranny filters have a rubber ring that seats it in??

Maybe?

 

That would be it... Thanks a bungload... I now have to braze a fitting on the tranny pan, and I am good to go.

No Problem, that was an easy one..............I know how it can be easy to freak and freeze up thought wise when parts fall out!
