Dana 80 swappers

Im working on swapping a Dana 80 into my 93 d350. I'm far enough along that I made a trial run yesterday. The truck is pulling to the right. I'm thinking this is do do the larger hole in the mounting pad on the D80 vs the pin in the leaf spring. I'm sure I've butchered the terminology but I hope it was good enough to get my point across. My question is what is everyone doing to fix this if anything? Thanks.

I machined a bushing so that the alignment pin fit snug and centered.

Could you weld a 1/4 thick plate to the mounting pad and drill the proper sized hole?
