Correction, 2nd gen 3/4-tons with manuals and 1-tons regardless of trans, got the Dana 80. A friend of mine has a '94 2500 with an nv4500 and a Dana 80 SRW.
Bill, I don't know if center sections between the 70s and 80s are interchangeable unlike the drums are. You'd probably have to count axle splines to get you started. Unless you know they have the same number of splines.

My parts books from 91-93 list all 32 spline axles. My 91 has bolt in axles, my 90 had stud mount axles. I'm not positive, but I think if you have 35 spline axles in your dodge, and its a dana 70, its possible someone put them there.
My 91 (bolts, 3.07 ratio) had an open carrier. I wanted a posi. I bought a dana 70 posi complete axle from what I was told was out of a 98 2500 with 3.54 gears. It had 32 spline bolt in axles. It was a single wheel truck. My 91 is a cab/chassis dually. the bearing sizes, spline count and even the axle length is the same.
