Question D-350 Dually what size tires will fit?

Does anyone know if a 245/75/16 tire will fit on a dually rear? Do you have to run spacers? Also my wheels are 6in wide will these tires be to wide? Was also thinking of going to 8ply instead of 10ply as I dont haul anything. Will this help the ride? Sorry about all the questions.

I put a set of 245/75/16's on an F350 to sell it one time. They didn't touch but it was close. I wouldn't run 'em if you're gonna haul any weight but they didn't touch. (they looked pretty neet)

235-85-16 on Eagle 058's (outers only, of course) Clear fine, nice and tall!

you DO know that the first 3 digits specifies width in mm right? 235/85/R16 are taller than 245/75/r16.

I think the 245's look cool because they're wide, but kinda short...., but you can't beat the look of 235/85's either. They are nice and tall and fill the wheel well.

255/85/16

255/85/16 with 058 outer rims work with 1' spacers and I run 285/75/16 on the front

Unfortunately, that size isn't offered by many well known tire manufactures anymore. Toyo makes some but only in 1 tread pattern.

So everyone thinks a 245/75/16 will work without spacers on the back? What about the 6in rim? I am interested in this tire size because it will keep my speedo right and be a little wider maybe look better?
