Custom Guage holders

I am heavily considering removal of the bench seat and install of 2 captains chairs, since its only me and my wife. I would like to build a center consoul/guage holder/cb holder, whatever in the center but need some ideas.

Thanks

Do you think you could see gauges in the console w/out taking your eyes off the road? I could see maybe tranny temp, since you don't have to watch it all the time. I just moved my weird combo gauge to the dash, but I have the everything delete package with no vents...

As it turns out, I'm getting the buckets/center console out of my old ramcharger and plan to lose the bench as well.

If you dont watch your guages a lot, that would be good.but if I dont watch mine like a hawk I can get into trouble in a hurry.I have to back out of the throttle to keep mine from going over 1600 degrees on the turbo temp.

csramsey640,
i went with 2nd gen seats and really like them. some say they are too stiff but on a long trip they are GREAT. after 24 hours (i drove 21 of them) my low back didn't even hurt. i know i'm only 23, but with the bench it sure did hurt after 4-5 hours. i will give dimensions of the frame if you want them. it bolts into the original seat mounts... and if you want to put a home built center console in the angle really allows for that. or you can use the center console/seat it's huge and has lots of storage space.
