"Custom Duals" almost done!! Pics

Well, All I need is two more 45 degree bends and I'll have it finished.. Tell me what you think so far..

It is pretty cool, because it is symetric at the splitter, I have it dead in the center, so it was pretty easy to do.. I was able to use all 45 degree bends, just had to cut to size and twist.. If I know it would have been so easy, I would've done 5"...

very nice work. But personally don't like duel exhaust (excluding stacks) on diesels.

Well the reason I did duals, is because I can smoke out both sides of the road..lol And everybody has stacks on the first gens... I like to be different, plus I didn't want all the soot all over my nice new paint job... It is 4" from the turbo with a 2nd gen dp... It is necked down just a little at the flange, but I think they all are like that until you do a different turbo..

Ya, I made my own shackles, They give 8" of lift over the stock setup, so I removed the factory blocks and I am plus 2 in the rear over stock.. Then I made my own top plates and new shock mounts.. They are still stock springs..for now!! I will be busting them apart and trying the spring tip poly puck insert deal that Jim Lane did..

DNR, where did you order your 4" parts? I just got a 4" 2nd gen downpipe, but am lacking the rest. When you get the chance you should get some audio of how she sounds and post it up.

Has lots of turbo whine/whistle at idle and a nice deep tone. Not loud IMO, it was stright piped when I bought it and went with Pinnicle's exhaust kit, but let them keep the muffler because I had already had the AERO turbine waiting.

I got all my parts from this place.. http://www.expanditperformance.com/

they had awesome prices.. They sell the 4" piping to go around our t-case... I ordered the 2nd gen dp from them, and the two pieces to get around the t-case, But I ended up only using one of them and putting like a 10" straight piece inbetween the dp and the pipe I got from them and it worked perfectly.. Then I cut it right at the back of the t-case and twisted it a liitle to make the angle better, It was ok... But I wanted it perfect..lol Then I orderd 4 45 bends from them, prices were real cheap, like 13-14 bucks each... And the rest is history.. If you want, I can look at the part# on the pipe I didn't use so you don't order that one.. Let me know if you need any help, it is all fresh in my mind...

When I get it all hooked up, I will get a little vid of how it sounds... I am curious, I have the 5" version on my 06... But I think it will sound even cooler on the first gen... I want to start it so bad, but I really want to wait untill it is all done!!
