I used the carpet specified from 75-80 on my '72 from ACC and it worked great.

There was quite a discussion on this topic a couple months ago. I think the general consensus is that ALL the crew cabs have the same floor, the large hump. I have a 2wd automatic 85 Crew Cab and the floor is the same as a 4wd. I ordered the ACC carpet and it fit fine.

Awesome thanks for the help! So the only difference between the 4wd and 2wd acc carpet is that it has the hole cut out for the 4wd shifter right?

I doubt they would cut the hole for the 4wd shifter. Ma Mopar didn't change the crewcab "cab" from 73 to 85...other then some slight outer sheet metal tweaks on the body lines. And as stated it seems the 2wd and 4wd crewcabs all have the same floors.

I need a new set for mine as well, but I'm waiting until I can stop the 2 gallons of water that end up on my floor every time it rains.

no holes, you have to cut your own. plus they are a bit oversize, so you need to trim them also.

no, this will not work as i have tried this with a friend that works at ACC. what happens is that when they lay the carpet in to mold it (whopping 22 seconds) the carpet gets stretched. they use a faster on the edges of the carpet to hold it in the mold and when the molding process starts it tears the carpet at the fasteners. this is not a problem when the carpet is used for the purpose of the mold only as the cut the part with the holes off. I had them make me a carpet and they neglected to tell me this when i ordered it, so when it came in that is what i found and then they explained the process to me. i now have what they call a "street rod" kit that has a little different under linings and can be molded to the floor by hand with a heat gun. they said that this will work the best for what im trying to do as the floors are different.

there are differences in the 4x4 and 2x4 floors, the humps are different. there is a large and a smaller tunnel.

see above, and no they do not cut any holes in the carpet. its actually made a little oversize and you have to trim to fit your application. hope this helps, from my trials and searching over the last few months.

OK what about some for a extended cab with some tail on it.
With maybe 2 more feet.
Or cut it under the front seat and add from that point with flat carpet

yeah you could cut in two pieces but i wanted mine one solid piece...o.c.d. i know but if thats what it takes then o'well. it would be the same scenario with the extended cab carpet and the holes as i described above, that is what i had them make me.

the kit i bought is a little more work, but the end result should be to my satisfaction.
