Anyone have this tool? I'd like to get one but I want to get it for a good price since I'm not pressed with time to get one.
I installed the rear main seal with the wear sleeve and was very frustrating to keep it straight, I had to separate the seal from the sleeve to get it to fit on the retainer then install the sleeve on the crank and play the retainer to get it to hug around the sleeve with out damaging it. I think next time I'll try the right tool or maybe a new trick if someone here knows how to better.

theres a lot of different ways to install the seal because of this site, patience helps, to me the rear is easy, the sleeve will slip over the crank, after freezing the seal for 20 minutes and tap right in with a rectangular aluminum block, it shrinks just enough to aid clearance. the front is a different animal, the cover moves, so i just remove it to get iy on a solid work space, heat the cover freeze the seal, no problems, you also get a mandatory kdp inspection for a few more minutes of time, im sure a lot of people would have loved seeing your tool, at the right amount of frustration, 180. is a good price.

Here is an update, after some searching I purchased this kit, I chose it over the other bc one it is cheaper and it is made here. I spoke with the tech at their website and He assured Me it would make installing the seal/sleeve much easier and do it right the first time, He also said they make them right there at their shop so I felt confident enough to buy one since I know not only Me but also My buddies will need it soon.
