couple pictures from this weekends work
This weekend, we cut up a 2 wheel drive 1st gen I have. I am using the frame and the bed to make a trailer to pull behind my 4WD 1st gen.
Here are a couple pictures from this weekend. I am the guy with the beard and the iron cross t-shirt on.
In the background you can see the truck I have been working on for the last couple months. Notice the stack with the clanker coming through the camper shell.
I have been mainly focused on doing the mechanical stuff. The cosmetics (body work and paint) will come towards the end.
It's gonna be a pretty cool setup, having a 1st gen bed as a trailer. I plan on lifting the trailer to match the height of the truck, using the same tires and wheels, and then painting the trailer to match the truck. I am also going to install a construction site type locking tool box and a spare tire carrier in front of the bed of the trailer.

I only got 36.60 for the steel from the cab and front part of the frame.
