Why do people take heavy-duty trucks that were made to work and haul heavy loads go and ruin them to make them look "sporty"?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally hate the wheels. The missing bumpers and hardware needs to be installed. The missing front bumper "retro mid-60's drag racer look" is no longer in fashion today. I wonder how long the plastic grille acting as the front bumper is going to last. There is also the EPay double talk: "I've seen no rust on the truck, the cab corners, rockers, bed all look solid. It was repainted..." Looks is only "paint deep" so is there a Bondo baby or a clean original truck under the new paint? Whoever buys it may be getting a big surprise in one way or the other.

Cool looking truck just needs front bumper and roll pan. But that is just my opinion and I guess it's all what YOU like not what everyone else likes. If you lived your life to impress others where would you be. Rumblefish that is also a cool looking truck and it would look good finished and in my driveway right next to the one Crossy's son found. In my personal opinion I think if its a 2wd toy it needs to be lowered and if its a 4wd toy it should be lifted but if it is a work truck it should be where ever it will fit "your" needs. So is it the coolest first gen ever, its up to the person looking at it and what they think. You know what they say about opinions.......................................... ....

Coolest first gen ever?
That doesn't look like my truck; although I may be a bit biased.

I think it would be a blast to drive... awsome idea. If it was mine it would have at least mini tubbed the rear to fit some large tires under it. You know how much fun it would be to wax ford lightings with it! Or really anything else on the street if you cranked it enough!

Caused a big ruckus huh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I really like the look of the truck. If I had the $ I'd have 20's on all my rigs. I had 19.5's on my 03. They were sweet.
