I vote for Dave.

Dave deserves a lot more than he gets.

There's a big gray area between want and need. I'm in there somewhere.

New #'s are in my sig. The old #2 only was 302/777. The only changes between then and now was the piston pump, Hertz's pin, and just a scosh more timing (Dodge92's ratchet strap method). Thanks again, Hertz!

Great new #'s Dave! How similar were the curves compared to your old ones---did the timing move things up? Sounds like fuel pins will be filling a bunch of stockings this Christmas! Now what else can we get you to try (twins) that we all are wondering (twins) how it might compliment (twins) your/our mods?

Twins. My printer doesn't make good enough $100 bills for me to get twins.

I really didn't get much more timing in it, maybe a degree at most. I'm gonna have to move the gear a tooth I think. The curves do not drop off as badly at high RPM, but I attribute that to the piston lift pump. There were several changes made so it's hard to say what made the biggest difference. I do think that the peak torque number is mainly due to the power pin. Comparing my cut pin to the Old Smoky one I could see that the Old Smoky pin was definitely deeper. SteamDave ran the Old Smoky pin today too, but I forgot his numbers. Maybe now with the steam show season over he'll be around to post them.

Plans as of now are head studs, more air (probably a SP66 from HTT), and then getting the KTA Spl. off the bench and onto a pump.
