Coolant Temp Gauge help

Well he is my problem, my coolant gauge and oil pressure work just fine, BUT when I turn on my lights both gauges move up about a a 1/4in on the gauge. Turn the lights off the gauges go down, so say that is changes how it looks so you dont know if you at hot or not. What am I looking for to fix this? Guages move up with lights on and down with lights off.

I had the same thing happen to me a while back, the more electrical stuff I turned on the worse the gauges acted. The small ground that goes from the battery to the front of the pickup was bad. It's just a sheet metal screw and it had stripped out and was all loose. I drilled the hole a little bigger and replaced the screw with a bolt. No more wacky gauges.

This is what I did and it worked, put a 2awg wire from the battery to the header clip and soldered a wire on the back to the cluster for another ground. Now that is has many grounds and good grounds it no longer moves around on me. I hope this might help someone else.
