I just ordered one for my truck today - should be lots better then the stocker.

I'll end up running it till I finish my other mods - a converter or a trans swap?

I had contemplated getting a comp. wheel upgrade, and did a good deal of research. I found out that if you plan on staying at moderate fuel levels, with stock injectors, it should do pretty good, even if you don't balance it(you are supposed to, by the way...) bu if you get into more mods, such as bigger injectors (370's etc...) than you will need a bigger turbo.

i like it. Ive only had mine on for like 6 days, I haven't played with my fuel, and dont' have the snow boost guage hooked up yet so i don' know #. Im suprised at the spool up with the 18.5, I think its a bit faster than the 50 wheel. bit cooler egt's, but with I found myself with my foot on it a lot more. worth the money.

Well, I just noticed you had a Non Intercooled truck with the 'baby" H1C, so you should like the upgrade quite a bit. But again, only if you plan on having moderate fueling.

I love mine and I have a stock truck, and the turbo really talks to you!

I'd say you could run POD's with a mild pump

When I had POD's in my truck with a maxxed pump I could hit 55 psi with a 16cm non gated housing, needless to say it wasn't happy

With my current setup I like it a lot,it spools pretty quick and I can hit 40 psi and it takes a while for the pyro to hit 1300, I'm likin the new I/C

That depends on what you are planning on doing with the truck. Play truck, run whatever you like and keep an eye on the pyro. But I wouldn't recommend anything more than stock injectors for a working truck. Not even 190s without a bigger turbo, unless you keep the pump turned down. But that sorta defeats the whole purpose then, doesn't it?

i have the compressor upgrade with the 14cm housing and absolutely love it. i haven't gone all crazy with the mods but have done quite a bit to the ol girl and it runs great. you can't beat it for the price as compared to a brand new turbo. wish i would have done it when i first bought the truck. just my .02

I don't plan on getting to wild with it. Maybe turn the fuel screw in some more and getting a different fuel pin. I'm also hoping to get water/meth this spring. I want to be making 200 to 250 rwhp and be able to use it to tow without getting hot.

What size is the compressor housing and wheel for the stage IV upgrade? The stage III is 60mm, so I'd think it's larger then that. Dave is running a stage IV compressor upgrade with 6x.016 injectors, which would be larger then a 370 injector for sure. But then again he has the water/methanol which is like a "chemical" intercooling. A truck without it would see higher EGTs especially with a larger injector.
