Hi everyone, im replacing my clutch and flywheel and am wondering if i need to replace my bolts or not. The internet seems to have mixed opinions so does anyone know somewhat for certain if our bolts are torque to yield or not? Thanks

Yup I re-used mine as well. Probably the TTY on those bolts is something brought in by the manufacturers in the 2000's?

Thanks guys gonna reuse them. Whoever invented tty bolts should be shunned and exiled to a life sentence to driving flat head srews into ironwood.

If you measured the threads in the crank and then measured them after a 200/300K tranny job... they move. I mean it might be best to just put the bolts how they were and then thread lock them with blue. New bolts are counter-intuitive.. Might as well do it right and replace the crank because you can bet your right hand that the threads in the crank are no longer the same.

=)
