Club / extended cab owners ????

Anyone remove their jump seats to "clean things up ?"

I wanted to remove the carpeting and put removable rubber in my extended cab area, and when I removed the jump seats, I couldn't believe how much cleaner and neater it was. I have no kids, and my dogs don't like using seat belts,..... although for everyone's sake, they should ..... so I pulled them out, and replaced the plastic shelves that are in the well under them (removed to clean & get carpet out...

Man, it looks great without them in there. Will post a pic when I get the new rubber mats...

Anyone else do this ?

I took mine out and had a piece of sheet metal formed to fit around the cab to cover the voids where the jump seats folded into. I upholstered the sheet metel then built a full console in the back.

Dude,

That's really cool ! I bet you have a secret storage area under that cover.... where the beer gets smuggled into the local events. Nice work. Is it refrigerated as well ?

Have we ever seen pix of your rig ? Can't remember ... Your avitar is not quite large enough for me to see.

left the seats under this removable "bed" I made for mine. It's not very big but I fit and sleep just fine at 6'2" 200lbs

Now that's an awesome idea. When the wife throws me out of the house, I have an instant place to cramp up..... or, I mean get some sleep.

Took mine out, the plan is to put a mid 90`s Ford xtra cab bench in there. I snagged the seat courtesy of cash for clunkers (working at a car dealer has its advantages). Just have to get my but in gear and fab up the mounting n seatbelts.

That's one side of where the back seat would be, other side looks same. Yes, they are speakers. Truck has a custom stereo system build in it. Oh, and Tater's93, nicest one you'll ever see. I remember looking at pictures of it when I was looking to buy one. It's unbelieveable!!!

Thanks for the compliment Bill. I appreciate it. You have some gorgeous trucks yourself.

PO pulled jumpers and put in bench. One of the reasons I liked this rig over others.
