Dealer should have one .. Call them an get them to run you vin no. and make sure it doesn't have a recall .. It could have one on the injection pump for sure or the steering wheel ..So it might get close to the clock spring.

You don't want5 buy one from the dealer.

Also OReiles and Ozone might carry them.

I thought the clocksprings were only used on the '93 and newer trucks?
I want to put a Grant wheel on mine but they don't make an adapter. I emailed Grant and they said it's because the '93 uses a clockspring.Since i've been contemplating getting a pre '93 column to swap in just so I can use this wheel.
Can anyone clear this up?

Im positive my 91 has/had a clock spring. No horn, cruise or blinker return without it. I wanna replace it no matter what the cost. Im going through this truck fixing all the stuff thats wrong with it. I all the little fixes done before I start modding it.

I pulled one out of a dodge minivan of the same vintage, cut off the extra wire for the airbag, and put it in! cost like $2 at the picknpull.

Yeah I did the exact same thing. Beats spending some insane amount of money to the dealership for one. Mine costed me $5 though.

Just take your old one with you, and start pulling ones out of like 92-94 vans, I got 2 of them as they looked slightly different, but one of them worked.

I like the pins, makes it much easier to drive and control smoke with a cranked pump. But you still have full fueling!!

So the blinker's don't cancel if your clockspring is broken??? My A/C and horn don't work along with plenty of other issues (cruise control, radio). If the blinker's cancel correctly, does this mean the clockspring is ok??

No, if you take the clockspring out you lose the cams that cancel the blinkers. When the clockspring fails it will usually bind up the steering, you have to pull out the bad clockspring to make the truck safe to drive. I ran without one for a few months, but had to replace it to get the horn back for inspection.

Guess my clockspring is ok then. I heard a popping in the column the first day I bought it. I don't know if the horn worked before then, but a momentary switch got mine to work for inspection!!

When I broke my clock spring it never scraped or bound or even made a sound, ever. My cruise just wouldn't work and I didn't know why until one day I decided to pull the clock spring and open it up. IIRC (and maybe I don't recall correctly) my horn worked. But then maybe it didn't. Could it even work with a broken clock spring?
I guess it doesn't matter, it's all fixed and works now.

Nope, but it's disconnected off the throttle linkage, maybe another issue too? But that little pop I felt the FIRST day i bought it makes me think clockspring...
