Check Engine Light???
My check engine light came on for a bit the other day??? I figure since I have a diesel I would be void of this computer controlled thing??? On our trucks, what does this mean?

You guys are great! I got a 12 and 46, not worried about the battery disconnected code, but the charging voltage too high concerns me...is my alternator going out?

Nope. That's a regulation problem. The only thing I can think of that would cause that is the field control wire to the PCM shorting to ground.

Would that be on the alternator side of things or pcm....im guessing alternator.

That would be the wire running from the alternator to the PCM. It's dark green.
