Casting number

I am looking at intercooling my 1990 cummins engine and was wondering if anyone witha 91-93 cummins would be willing to supply me with a casting number so i can price one. or if you have one that you dont need/want would you be willing to sell it. and dont let the name get you astray i wanted to put 6Lcummins but it said someone already had it so thanks for the help.

Nick

He wants the part number for the intake horn/elbow that sits ontop the grid heater on 91.5-93 intercooled trucks. I forgot to look earlier. I'll try tomorrow.

Well Im kinda the opposite because i hate the boxy look of my truck, but it has a Cummins so i had to have it. I love fords and the powerstroke, i havent seen anything in the stock form, personal experience and preferance, run better. plus it kinda stands out in a dodge forum. please dont let this start into a pissing match though. but the i also love the purr of a cummins. so that is y the 6L powerstroke. pics to come later...maybe if computer compies

yea and technically better than a CTD. considering how long the newer 6.0L isnt that old and the 7.3 hasnt been around as long. but Cummins is really nice too. i just dont want a pissing match. and no foul taken. everyone has their own opinions. and thanks for the welcome.

well in my persoanl experiencebill, which i gaurantee is different and alot less than yours it has been the PS over the Cummins, and i was saying the cummins has been around longer than the PS. and had less time to perfect it, look at how many changes they have made in 12 years compaed to how many Cummins has made. i know that contradicts what i said, but from what i see around me the PS pre 05 held up just as well if not better than the cummins. i love both engines, the reason i have a cummins is that it is cheaper. and im glad you had a good chuckle bill.
