I scored some MLV at work today and I am taking the carpet out of the truck. What do I need to know or look out for? Is the carpet attached to the firewall with some type of adhesive? I really don't want to break (or rip) some hidden button or bracket.

 

as far as I know just take out the seat and the door sill plates and it should come up.

 

No hidden thing as far as I can remember. Sometimes the glue for the batting melts and sticks to the floor. But it's been a couple of years since I had mine out, so don't take that as the gospel.

 

Seatbelts need to be removed from the floor too.

IIRC there was a screw that located the carpet that was hidden under the drivers sill plate.
