Can I Remove the Vacuum Sensor?

I'm on a mission to remove all unnecessary wires and parts underneath the hood.

I would guess that all it will do is turn the brake warning light on, can anyone confirm this?

That is correct, that is exactly what it does. I unplugged mine since I don't have any vacuum for the brakes anymore.
