I've ran 6x.018's and im currently running 6x.016's, never had any problem with surging. They both have the typicle idle haze. My idle with the 6x.018's was a little ruff compared to the 6x.016's im running now, but other then that, no complaints here. O and both sets of mine were made by Scheid.

Is the idle haze you mention only when its cold or all the time?

Take a look at DDP's injectors. Their injectors aren't cheap but you get what you pay for when it comes to injectors. They make a very high quality injector and they also have a 30 day return policy if you don't like them.

The HX40 is a Holset turbo charger, similar to your H1C you have now and very similar to the HX-35 found on second generation trucks.

the HX40 has a 60mm compressor wheel so it pushes more air (cfm) and has a 4 inch exhaust outlet instead of 3 inch. This turbo completes the term "bigger turbo". Its DEFINATELY not huge but its relatively big. good for a little over 400HP.

i know what a hx40 is. so then the fact that the compressor is pushing more air and the 4inch exhaust instead of 3inch would make it clear better?

Yes, the bigger turbine helps get more air through the engine.

Yea they haze all the time, it doesnt matter if its 0 or 90 dg F outside they haze. I consider it normal tho.

Yea just tell em 6x and id make sure you mention getting the spray pattern tightened up and get the .020 copper injector washers. Those to things make a big difference in cleanliness. They should take care of the rest.

Nothin, you'll just have the stock spray pattern with the larger holes. It will limit you on the amount of timing you can get away with.

The most I can hit with the HX40/16 is 1000 degrees.

Randy CC is cruise control. Some times people have problems with the CC surging with injectors and turned up fuel.

JAyers my 6x.018's don't haze on a warm engine. But I am not pushing anywhere near the fuel your are eather. Now when the engine is cold thats another issue. LOL
