Built something cool for the truck!

With winter rolling in, I started thinking of a high idle device so that my truck will actually warm up... Long story short I built a electrical circuit that over rides my cruise control and with a flick of a switch I can idle my truck up! It's pretty sweet if I don't say so myself

It's still in its developmental stage.... Couple of switches zip tied together under the hood of the truck. Wanted to see if it was even going to work. I also fried my cruise control servo trying to figure out how it worked.. Their happens to be a diode in the servo which is very susceptible to reverse voltage... FYI...
I'm also in the process of adding some protection for the factory cpu

You using a rheostat or something? Or is it a 1-5 VDC kind of thing? Sounds cool!

So this uses the cruise control servo to pull on the throttle linkage and increase idle? If so, sounds great and good for you !! Looking forward to hearing if you get it working.

Sorry for the silence. The project is moving along just slow. Their is a little bit of electronics involved. I'm no engineer so I'm trying to build the best circuit for the job..

I built a similar device for a kubota pulling tractor. But used a p-pump fuel shutoff solenoid.

Something else that is in the works... Is a device that takes the factory tach signal and converts it to a signal that any automotive tach could use! Opens up some more tach options. I built the circuit and in theory it should have worked?? It's kind of hard to drag your oscilloscope to the truck in the middle of winter... I will finish that after the high idle circuit.
Ackerdiesel the cool thing about this device is you can raise or lower the idle to where you want it..

Not to offend anyone but, just so it's been said;

- Don't let this thread turn into something that might cross the line (forum rules), and look like a non-paying vendor taking orders and such.

Thanks folks.

You know there's already people doing this on cumminsforum, there's a whole how-to thread on how to do it and everything.
