brake problem
I been having hell with my girlfriends 1992 dodge d250, i replaced everything beside vacuum pump. it goes to floor i have to pump them to make them work.Going around a corner and you hit your brakes it will shimmy and shake very bad. Im just at a lost and could use some help. Thank you Thomas
Hi Thomas.
There are inherent problems with the design of these braking systems of our dodges. That being said, the "brake problem" rodeo never ends around here, and about 1.5 million threads on the subject have been already gone through.
Issues such as inferior after market master cylinders, improper master cyl bench bleeding techniques , improper bleeding system, poor quality seals on the rear wheel cylinders, and on and on. I could go on forever.
Most of the time, from my experience, its as simple as air in the system, and you need to figure out what is bad, or what you did wrong to allow air in, and not get it all out. If you used aftermarket master, bad seals from bench bleeding incorrectly, or bad rear wheel cylinders are most common.
Your job is to write in detail what you've done, and read through the bleeding procedures to get that air out.
