I met a cool guy today at HotRodDiesel and bought a 4" DP, 4" pipe and bends, 4"-5" adapter, 5" turn-out chrome 48" stack with bracket to mount to the bed. I will be yanking the crappy 3" stuff off in the morning and installing the new stuff. Cant wait to see how it sounds and looks. I'm going the simple route and getting it close to the frame and then strait up from there. Less bends than putting it in the corner and less cost. lol I will be going back to this guy next weekend and getting pyro, 60psi boost, and 12cm wg exhaust housing.

BTW, i was shocked when I walked into his shop and he actualy had a first gen 4" DP sitting there. What are the chances!

 

Where in Georgetown is he? Did he have another one laying around?

He's on the forum and is in the chat section a good bit, goes by MDW. He REALLY helped me out in a bind a while back, great guy.

 

i live in Katy, TX now, i need to redo my sig. His shop is in Hitchcock, TX. Its right off HWY 6.

 

What a great morning, I wake up to an account overdrawn by $1,500. I guess last night when he was trying to run my card and having trouble he tried it several times. I guess all those times it was actualy going through. Go figure. lol I dont blame him, it didnt look to me like it was going through either. Now I just have to wait 7-10 business days for my money to be returned and fees waived. So I guess installing the stack isnt going to happen today, due to lack of funds.

Unless someone in Houston/Katy area is feeling generous and has a welder. lol
