Boost Controller

I'm thinking of adding a manual boost contoller to lower egts when towing. By lowering boost psi I'm thinking it might help lower egts. Will my backwards consept work? I'm also thinking my fuel economy will take a hit and will lose some hp.

Thanks

Unless you are up past 40 psi, lowering boost will not help your EGT.
