Hey all, does anyone know what the number is & where to get the clips that hold the big Stainless Steel plate on my tailgate? The plate says " Dodge Ram " & " Cummins Turbo Diesel " underneath the dodge ram part, on the passenger side of tailgate. I have noticed the middle part is starting to come loose from the clips occasionally. The clips appear to be white plastic & are attached to the tailgate & this big plate snaps onto them. Plate is a brushed SS finish & goes all the way across it & is 5" tall. I think they are a " CP-Clips-Dodge-6003519-FBA " does that sound right? The only way to find out is to tear the plate off, & I hate to do that until I have the correct parts in hand. The truck is a 1989 W250, with all the chrome & stainless goodies on it. Thanks so much for any & all help, love this site & all your guys's input. I'm not bad with wrenches, just don't know squat about body stuff.

 

I have no idea what these clips look like as I've no experience with that particular trim panel. A gentleman by the name of Oliver Foster is floating around here and is a wealth of knowledge and may even have some he could sell to you. You can hunt him down and send him a message. In the meantime, poke around on www.clipsandfasteners.com to see if you can find what you're looking for.

 

I have never had a truck with that style tailgate trim, so I can not be of much help.
