Bilstein 5100 part #
Bobva, did you end up getting the Skyjacker M9527 with the EB4 (5/16) bushings? The pdf shows the M9527 at 24.84" extended and 14.82" compressed. This is comparable to my Bilsteins but I'm hoping it will help reduce the amount of hop I get on bumpy roads. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
D.

The M9527 came with the EB4 11/16 bushing.

I have no idea I never put the bilsteins on.
I was not about to take a hammer to my truck to make them fit.

Just a note on shock length. I took some droop measurements on my 91 W250 with the auto a518. At about 24" eye to eye extended length, the front driveshaft had a tiny clearance to the stock trans crossmember and it turned without scraping. Compressed length around 15.5-16" is safe and let's the bump stop be the bottoming point. I'm considering notching my cross member for plenty of droop travel.
One reason these trucks don't flex stock is the front shocks only allow an inch or two of droop, many aftermarket stock height shocks are only 21" or less extended. Meanwhile, the springs are sagged and you only have 1" up travel, not a good scenario.
I wanted to use a 1" driveshaft spacer because I don't know how far the slip yoke can extend yet, but with leaf spring just kissing the stock bumpstop, I think you could only use a 1/2" spacer max if they even make them. I took the bolts off the flange at transfer case and eyeball ed the max gap between them, I couldn't get the gap more than 5/8 or about.
