depends on what kind of shape your front springs are in. My front springs are resting on the bump stops and don't rub with my 255/85/r16 which are more or less a 33/10.5 but if I have my plastic fender trim on the tires hit that. I don't think I would clear 33/12.5 tires because of the state of my front springs. If your front suspension is in decent shape, then you should clear them. Typically our trucks do clear those tires.

I had 285/70/17 on my rig before I lifted it and the front springs were seriously shot. They rubbed a little if I turned into a dip and was at an angle, but other than that, no problem. 33's shouldn't be an issue.

I also think the back spacing of the new wheel will affect if they rub or not. But as everyone has said it really matters on how much your front spings have sagged.

I am running 9.00x16's. They are 36" tall but very skinny. I rub in extreme situations, otherwise no problem.

I have 285/75R/16s on my truck with no lift and they don't rub. My front springs are getting to be just about straight now.

Trim the fenders some, and you can run 37's with saggy front leafs
