Big Single Wheel

I was thinking of turning my dual rear wheels into a big single. Does anyone know of any examples of this? RYAN

That's gonna take a custom rim, and the tire won't be a truck rated tire.

No reason it can't be done.

Good lookin' tire.

Supersingles are truck rated. Lots of trucking companies run them now. They're becoming more popular. But i don't know if they make them in a 16 inch tire. And i dont know if Alcoa makes a rim or not for a small truck application. Would be nice if they did though.

They can adapt a one ton to a 24.5 if ya want.

Not what you mean, but still a cool ride.

Lord, please forgive me

I see big rigs all the time with one big fat tire on the rears.

Like i say big rigs i mean 18 wheelers.... you know "tractors"....big CAT engines...13 speeds.

Those trucks with single tires in place of duals... That tells you they can be strong

I once saw a dually Dodge in Kansas City that had big slicks on the back like a pro street truck. It was on the interstate and looked cool.

Lets just say I bought 2 big wide 24.5's for my Triaxle dump last summer and they were about 1400 bucks for 2. I need the wide tires on the steering axle for weight reasons. I don't think I will be runing those on a p/u.
