Best suspension system

I won’t be getting some for awhile but trying to figure out what I want been doing a lot of reading and this is what I have found
1. kelderman is the best of the best
2 caril coil over really good
3 a good set of springs with bilistien shocks
4 4 link bag suspension
or what about skyjacker soft ride springs will they affect my towing I do a lot of towing with this truck I would like to keep the same or obtain a higher weight rating

I prefer a more stock-like spring, and accomplish any lift by moving the hangers.

If you do move/change hangers, recommend longer leafs for better ride.

#3. The guys at Alcan Spring set me up with a great set of springs. As for shocks, I went with Monroe coil overs in the front and magnums in the rear. Did it give me a "softer ride"? No. But it did help with towing stability without decreasing my weight capacity. You can't beat leaf springs for a work truck.

I have posted several threads on trucks I have lifted.
I like SkyJackers springs for what you get for what it costs.

You will not be legally raising your weight carrying capacity by adding different suspension / leaf springs to your truck.

1ton leafs or aftermarket stuff from an upfitted wrecker or dump truck (also "1ton'") have served me well.

Very true, but that tends to slide by the wayside with a personal-use vehicle. I set (license) my w250's gvw at 12k# and do what it takes to make the truck look comfortable with 2tons payload.
