I have an A518 that needs a band adjustment, and I do not have a book on the truck. I will soon purchase one but if anyone can tell me the proper adjustment that would be great. Id like to do this before it gets too cold out.

 

what has worked for me since 1966. with the pan off pull down hard on servo lever adjust 1/4 in. clearence and tighten jam nut. both bands. there are several diff. clearences in diff manuals. this has worked both street and strip for me.
