Ball joint Press

I was looking for a nice ball joint press for my 1st gen. I would like it to be able to press ball joints and u-joint. I was planning to purchase this but just want to make sure the sizes are correct.

Just as an FYI...if you have Autozones anywhere by you, they'll lend you the tool for free.

Yeah I know, I figured since I service vehicles I might as well put one in my tool box. The snap-on tool is too much for me (600$) so I might just stick with OTC.

That is a handy tool that you will find many more uses for. They will also bend metal and collapse/ hold lots of stuff. Like a c-clamp on steroids.

Don't the ball joints thread into the a-arms on 2 wheelers?

I have one just like it from harbor freight, I use it all the time. Very handy with an impact wrench and lots of WD-40, beats using a big hammer anyways. All kinds of uses, definitely worth having on the shelf.
