Miller part # for ball joint press

I'm trying to find the miller part numbers for the tools to remove and install the upper and lower ball joints in the AAM 9.25 axle.

Also looking for any other source to purchase or rent the press kit. The only thing the stores locally have are the cheap kits and I'm not fighting with them this time.
Thanks

Quad 4x4 has a ball joint install remove kit. The sell both a USA made and offshore models. American is like $100 more. It is tough to find one that will work on our trucks. Need 10" of throat I think. It will have to be heavy duty one too or you might only change one set and it will be shot.

I ordered the OTC 8031 from Americas Tool Warehouse they are the same as NTXtools out of Seattle, WA. Free Shipping. Cost $251. A little more versatile as it is for Chrysler Jeep/Truck/SUV

The Miller Special Tools numbers you will need for both upper and lower ball joints are 8975; five piece adapter kit for lowers and upper, 8445; three piece adapter kit for the upper, 6761; an additional upper receiver for removal and C-4212-F; C Frame. Hands on Tools out of Fort Collins, CO was the lowest price I could find when I was looking at the option of getting the specific special tools by Miller for heavy duty dodge 4x4 pickups (total is $428 with free shipping) vs. the OTC 8031 kit above .

Service manual for my '05 calls for the following adapters for use in the C-Frame.

Lower Removal: 8975-2 (receiver) and 8975-4 (driver)
Lower Installation: 8975-3(receiver) and 8975-1 (driver)
Upper Removal: 6761 (receiver) and 8445-3 (driver)
Uppper Installation: 8975-5 (receiver) and 8445-2 (driver)

I have a 05 will the OTC 8031 kit work for my truck? I called OTC on friday and told me they needed the Miller part #'s to tell me what kit I needed.

The first B.J. job I tried to use a cheap press kit and won't do that again

I ordered the OTC 8031 based on the thread by Mr. Gadget, How to (Ball Joints). A great post showing how to do the ball joints. They also confirmed that the OTC8031 would work with all the 3rd generation trucks.

I'm still waiting for Carli to produce their lower ball joint so I can use my press.
