Bad creak sound on take-off ??
When I pull away from a stop in 2nd or 1st, I get a bad metal creak from the rear, it almost sounds like like a snap. is it just axle wrap on my old springs/ blocks, or something worse, I can't see anything the looks loose or abnormal.
Take a look at the springs and make sure all the "holding clamps" are in place and also check to make sure that none of the u-bolts that join the springs and the rear are loose or broke. Look real close at everything back there, you don't want to have a major catastrophe going down the road.

If it was the posi it would only make the noise if you were turning from a stop................wouldn't be a bad idea to add a bottle of posi lube just the same.
one more possibility is the slip spline on the drive shaft. If it has a grease zerk, pump it full of grease.
If it don't, take the drive shaft out and pull it apart and grease it.......................Just make sure, you get it back the same way you took it off.
Flash.

Examine the area of the frame, where the spring-hangers are riveted on.
These hangers catch all the salt/mud that the tires sling, then eat at the frame, eventually wearing through and cracking the frame.
