Kiszka, I was gonna do lights but don't need em much right now and not worth 100+ or the LEDs. It might be rockin the lights some time down the road
Got it primered. Sand a tiny bit tomorrow and spray the dang thing already. Tired of looking at it on jack stands!

That bumper is so big, you could........
Smuggle up some immigrants inside it from mexico.
or
have a party with a group of nice looking ladies standing on it from end to end...
or
Use it a shield against any stray bullets heading your way
or
Attach an excavator arm to it and start digging out trenches for the local plumber who needs to run a new service waste line

I'm really digging the good looking lady option! Going to the beach next week so I'll see if I can make that happen! I'm hoping the extra weight of this thing helps the ride a little

Don't forget being able to back over all zombies as needed. After the nuclear EMP attack our trucks will be some of the newest things on the road other then pre 70's rigs. Oh wait watching to much dooms day preppers!

I used some automotive paint my dad used on his flatbed. It's high quality stuff and mixed some hardener with it. Sprayed it with a decent paint gun.. Took me a bit to get used to the gun!
As far as prep.. I wiped it down with acetone for like an hour and then a few coats of self etching primer. I have a clear coat rattle can but not decided if I want to use it. I think it should hold up well and the paint looks like it stuck real good.. Time will tell I guess!
Gonna try and mount it tomorrow and wire the plug and the license plate lights.
Had a friend who is a painter spray my grill.. I started the bumper build so I wanted to paint too!

It's not too hard, you just have to go for it. The hardest part was bending the hitch. After that it was all measuring and cutting. Then weld her up.
Off course having the welder, torch, etc. helps.
