Babied truck gets a workout....
I was told that 4x8x1/2inch drywall weighs 55 pounds per sheet... if thats true.

that'd be 3135 pounds right there (and there's my wife, she doesn't add much to the equation
)

and here's another 4235 pounds in the trailer. now this may not impress some of you guys that haul stuff all the time but that's a good bit for my truck that has like 115K commuter miles and 12K of light pulling. Greatest part about it is that with the air bags the rear of the truck didn't even sag!

it pulled great. the ride in this thing is 10 times better with a huge load. i felt like if i punched it too hard off the get go i would only be creating heat in the tranny so i took it slow. mostly back roads so the pyro didn't even top 1000F made me feel good though. of corse then i got to where we were going and i realized i couldn't leave until it was all unloaded and they wanted me to help! lol. and it was all upstairs. oh well it was a good workout for the truck and for me.
Don't worry Dave -- you couldn't do that with your truck. You'd never be able to prime the walls over the soot . . .
Weight wise, that should have been a perfect work-out for the truck! It is always nice to use a tool for what it was intended . . .
