I haven't posted in years. It looks like the suspension upgrades were in 2020. Over the last year+ I've worked on the truck a lot as I prepare to pull my camper and travel.

Engine
  • Front main
  • KDP
  • Water pump
  • Fluidampr
  • Oil pan gasket
  • Rear main
  • Poly Bushing Engine mounts
  • Optitorque torque master Head studs
  • PDD 60lb valve springs
  • BHAF
  • Infinite Performance HX35 60/60/12
  • DPS Exhaust manifold
  • Mel's stainless exhaust
  • HVLP lift pump
  • Fuel heater delete
  • Ratman Delivery valves
  • Ratman Fuel pin
  • 3200 spring
  • Infinite Performance reworked stock injectors

Drivetrain
  • Loganbuilt VE King trans rebuild (including flex plate and converter)
  • Transmission fluid-to-fluid delete (Yes, I know this is controversial)
  • Poly Bushing trans mount bushings
  • Resealed transfer case (every gasket and seal)
  • Both driveshafts rebalanced with all joints and carrier bearing replaced
  • New bearings, races and seals in all four hubs
  • Drum brake overhaul

Other
  • Rear shocks
  • Brake hoses
  • Heater box cleanout
  • Tach, Pyro, Boost, and Trans temp gauges
  • 2nd gen shift lever
  • Window motor drive rebuild

I'm likely forgetting something. I'll try to add pictures later.

Up next is some much needed electrical repairs and updates.

Dang, that's a lot of stuff! It's fun to work on our stuff (most times...) I'm just getting started on freshening mine up after a long break from the diesel world as well.

It seems to go in phases for me depending on other hobbies or home maintenance. I'm enjoying the diesel work right now. Plus, I want the truck working well so I can depend on it for long road trips.

Yeah, that's the adulting part of life! At least you're in AZ, nice and rust free. I spent 3 years in Yuma, would not recommend!

I spent the last 20 years in AZ which is where the truck came from. I've spent time in Yuma, not my favorite place.

Currently I'm visiting family in Indiana.
