autometer boost gauge

my boost gauge... only a few weeks old, gets stuck. for the first run of the day i can floor it and it will not move at all (my max boost is only 13 or so) if i tap on the front of the gauge it will snap into place and work usually for the rest of the day. if i leave it for a long time in the sun it seems to get "stuck" again. anyone else having this problem?

No, I haven't had any problems with mine. I would call autometer they should either fix it or give you a new one. I'm pretty sure autometer has a pretty good warranty on their products.

YEAH! I just installed mine about a week ago and noticed the same thing.

I don't tap it... after about 5 minutes or so it comes to. As if it needed pressure to open the line back up.

My Z-seires 30lb gauge works flawlessly. Never seen it stick.

I'd call for a replacement. Mine bakes in the florida heat with no problems. I have tinted windows and use a windshield sun screen though.

My cab was 109F after work today.

i started with the 60psi gauge since i know myself, i say i only want 225hp or so... but i know i won't be able to stop, and i hate spending money 2 times because i didn't look far enough ahead. i'll call autometer tomorrow... i've talked to thier tech line before and was pretty pleased.
