Ok well im about to do my getrag but im wondering is the drive shaft diff?

no they wont work auto is longer than gutbag rear shaft needs lengthen front shortend when i did mine i happened to have another set laying around for a gutbag transfer case wont work ether

Getrags don't have a slide in driveshaft. Yours is 2wd right?

Really? The one I have is a a yoke like on the rear. I figured they were all like that. Hmm, sorry about that then. I know on the 4wd, auto to manual t-cases are different spline. Not sure in your case though.

You sure you have a diesel trans? The gassers had an NP manual I believe.

the guy has the adapter plate for the motor i can take a picture of the shifter

The Getrag is a cast iron transmission. If I can remember it has Getrag or G360 cast into the side. I'm also pretty sure that all 2wd G360's had a yoke on the output.

Mine has G360 on it and a yoke output. I am thinking you have a gasser trans.

maybe you got your hands on a cummins nv4500?
