auto gear shifter ???
So ,when I shift the gears in my truck the needle on the little indicator thing doesnt move,the gears shift and everything works fine except the little needle thing.Easy to fix or what?

There's a thing (I don't know what to call it) that is hooked to the indicator and it hooks to the shifter underneath the dash cluster, take a look in that area. It may have come unhooked or is broken.

IIRC, the "indicator needle" is connected via some sort of cable (similar to fishing leaders?) to the shifter.
Mines the same way... needle laying in the bottom of the housing, no sign of any cable
