attention all 5spd conversions!!!!

Talking attention all 5spd conversions!!!!

need a head to tail list of stuff it takes to convert a 727 truck to a 5spd truck. its coming hopefully coming out of a 89 250 2wd truck. mines a 91 2wd truck. anybody got a list of parts i know rbrett did it.who else did?

Checking in!

clutch
flywheel
brake and clutch pedal
master cylinder bracket, do a search a couple days back, youll find the thread
master and slave cylinder kit, get it from dodge, it comes bled
transmission of course
shifter
crossmember
tranny mount
rear driveshaft
optional is change steering column, i just removed the gear shifter
And for all this, a good $2000.

i reused my x-member without issue
got my master/slave combo from "moparpartsamerica"-much cheaper than actually going to dodge, and is a genuine dodge part

Nick what I would do is see if your buddy will let you get the other truck for a couple of days and just have both sitting side by side and take off the parts as you need them. Plus then you'll be able to tell exactly where everything needs to go without guessing.

I like it around 850. It'll do fine set where it is now though.
