Normally this would not be a big deal but now I have to have the rocker arm pedestals machined to fit the new studs and nuts. They need to be milled down .200".

Has anyone done this?
Can a machine shop do this?

ye thats normal, i had to have the same thing done cant remember what i paid for them though as i had some head work done at the same time but somebody will let you know how much you should be spending

 

Got them done and they look and measure up great. Paid $100 canadian

 

Just so its been said, the A1 12mm studs don't require milling the rocker pedestals. Only clearancing the web in the valve-covers.
