now are you guys using regular spray paint or the "special dye paint" ???

also how bad is it to get the dash pad out???

i have swapped out my whole gauge cluster from another truck when my o.d. broke but did not know there was a difference between gauge clusters? can you enlighten me please?

the gauges are slightly different on an 89-90 vs a 91-93. I'll try to find pics.

well i used wal marts .99 cent brand paint just sanded it down and painted it....i just sprayed my dash installed....just taped everytihng up.....you have to take your windshield out to take the dash out since there are screws holding it up underneath the window

They do that to remind us that, even thought the cummins is awesome, we still bought a Dodge.

hmm, thanks for the pics..my truck is a 90 and i have the same cluster as you and i have never seen a 89-90 with the old style cluster but its cool to know they made them.
