Anyone on here driving a 1500 2nd gen Cummins

pretty sure there was a guy on here who swapped a cummins into a 1500 series from the late 90's.
That being said, he was asked a few times if his front suspension, axle, and other components survived the weight of the lump, and for how long.
Not sure whatever happened to him, as I haven't seen the truck or whomever it was for more than 5 years.
Me ? I wouldn't do it EVER, but to each his own.

I used to have a '96 ram 1500... a neglected clubcab I picked up really cheap.
After doing some major front end work on it (suspension/axle), and wrecking out a couple 2ndgens (cummins)... no way was I going to do a swap on those style trucks. Too frustrating to work on, and rust eats them up faster than 1stgens.
I sold off the 1500 again... made a few $$$.
