North Carolina

I overheard a High School girl employee at Mc Donald’s ask if Florida was in the United States.

Jim Lane you didn't really hear that? nasty01cummums there is a guy somewhere over that way but not sure how close. You might pm him it's BC84something look him up in the members, man what is his name on here BC843/846 anyways look him up and pm him. What are you wanting to do to your pump? Most of the mods can be done by you with minimal tools. Do you have any mechanical skills? If you have some wrench skills the guys on here can walk you thru most anything you need to do, just be patient with them getting back to you. This 89 involves getting your hand dirty turning it up. Prepare some by reading the stickys on what your wanting to do. If I can help ya I will. Good luck with the ole truck.

About the McDonalds girl?
Yes sadly I did, I went in and I bought some gift cards for a friend and ask her if hey can be used in Florida so she read the back and it said that they can be used anywhere within the continental United States so she ask the manager if Florida was in the United States.
I tried really hard not to laugh because she was dead serious, poor thing.

Also i kinda have an idea about where the smoke screw is and full power screw and the afc lever but im not 100% sure. And until im not 100% sure i dont wanna try anything

nasty01cummims I understand. I do alot of mechanic work on my big trucks I take very little to the shop to be repaired, so I have a good background "been doing some kind of mechanic work since I was a wee boy". I even had 2nd thoughts on the 366 spring. But I did my normal psych up and decided if they can do it I can do it. Patience and reading the stickys will get you a long way if you have minimal skills. I have better luck working alone with no distractions and I amaze myself "doesn't take much to amaze me tho"at times what I can come up with. If you have a video camera to film what you are doing will help. I bet you can do it but if your not totally comfortable doing it someone will step up i'm sure that's close by. The 1st gen guys here are some great help if you need it. Good luck with it.

BC is over in Buies Creek, pretty good haul for you.

I'm in W-S and did my 366 spring in an hour +/- over at McMopars. I figure I have average mechanical skills and had NO problems (following the sticky link with Photos). I can tell you a 10mm GearWrench is a good thing to have on hand!

If you can hang tight a few more weeks (mega busy right now), you can make the haul up here and we can knock it out.
