Anybody into mountain biking?

I know it seems like a strange question, but I recently saw a video of some downhill/freeride mountain biking and the guy doing the riding was driving a white and grey 1st gen crew with a big Cummins sticker in the back window. Truck was lifted with bigger wheel/tires. I believe the truck had Canadian tags, but not sure what province. Would be cool to know someone else who uses a first gen to go riding.

We mountain bike. My first gen pulls our old Airstream with mountain bikes in the bed and a canoe on the roof.
Great way to spend a weekend outdoors.
The one you saw wasn't us though.

Like Douglas I do both, although there ain't no mountains here in Sth Florida. Wasn't me but wish it was!

I remember there was a bit of an uproar over an F350 that DP magazine had on it's cover. It had been lifted, and had some strange looking bike rack in/on the bed with a couple of bikes on it. A lot of folks were scratching their heads over a great big truck 'hauling' a pair of 30lb bikes.

Where is that? My brother is coming over in July to ride at Whistler. Is it anywhere near there?

Found the video. You first see the truck at 20 sec. in and again at the end starting at 3:10. Its nice seeing the truck, but even if you aren't into moutainbikes you have to admit some of this riding is sick.

I wish I could get out to BC to do some riding and hit up Whistler. It sucks here in Maryland for riding big mountains. Got to drive a good bit to get anything with decent elevation (here in the Mid-Atlantic), and I'm talking only 4-5,000 ft.

Here in Florida, the highest point is something like 300' above sea level. Mountain biking? Yeah, right.

In Dearborn I think the higherst mountain is on Ford's test track... It gets slightly better a bit west in Ann Arbor. Even Pennsylvania hills are huge in comparison.
cheers.
