any one useing a 14cm

wanting to know if anyone has a 14cm non wastegated housing on their hc1 compressor?

I am using a 16cm now and it only makes around 20 psi what can the 14cm do?

You need to put more fuel to it to get more boost. What size injectors are you running and have you turned any screws on the pump ? I see compound turbos in your sig...what size is the primary turbo assuming your using the hc1 as the secondary. You need a mess of fuel to spool twins.

the custom compund turbos use the hc1 with the 16cm housing for the primary and the other is a hypermax from a 6.9 ford turbo kit. it used to run 32 psi the i blew the head gasket when I got it back to geather it only ran 30 if I ran it really hard. but like in my sig it custom and might need reworked?

stock injectors but i have the diafram turned down for milage, is an early 91

If you're using a Hypermax turbo from a Ford, you really arent gaining anything in the long run. You need a BIG turbo (think from a N14 or C15) for your bottom, and the H1C/ HX35 for your top. The reason is rotating inertial mass and drive presure. The huge turbo will give you more air for a given drive pressure than the little (Hypermax) turbo will. That will, in turn, reduce the amount of work your engine has to do to get the air.

If you do a comparison of the twin kit you have now, vs the single of your choice, I bet your EGT will actually go down with the single.

And on that note, while it sounds cool and all, the real reason for going with twins is to cool EGTs. If you dont have EGT issues, you dont need the twins. Or a bigger turbo, for that matter.

what if i use a stock non intercooled compressor with the 16cm exhaust and a stock intercooled compressor with the 14cm, I belive the intercooled compressor is larger wheel the the the one that came on the truck.

Or instead of doing that which single should i use non intercooled com. with the 16cm or the 14cm?

or I could use the intercooled com. with eaither of those 2 housings?

which would be the best set up?
